Cases

While each family law case is unique, as a Senior Partner for Justice you will likely provide legal services in the form of:

  • filing and answering complaints for divorce and paternity and complaints for modification of support, custody and visitation orders;

  • counseling clients, sometimes on an emergency basis, on such matters as ex parte relief from domestic abuse, child visitation and other sensitive issues;

  • filing and answering discovery requests and conducting and attending depositions;

  • counseling clients on alternative options; mediation;

  • negotiating and drafting separation agreements;

  • assisting clients in the disposition of the marital estate and the protection of marital and nonmarital assets; and

  • trying cases in the Probate and Family Court.
