Supporting Organizations

The work of Senior Partners for Justice could not have gone forward and continue to be sustained without the support of various groups. Their support is gratefully acknowledged.

Volunteer Lawyers Project is the legal umbrella for Senior Partners for Justice. VLP provides the administrative staff to screen cases for merit and eligibility and assesses the relative complexity of the case, before referring the case to a Senior Partner. VLP also screens for any special needs or problems presented by the client such as language limitations, and emotional fragility.

MCLE prepares the brochures, offers all Senior Partners free admission to its family law and other relevant programs, and provides the meeting space for the monthly meetings.

Suffolk University Law School provides student interns to assist the Senior Partners and the Lawyer for the Day Programs in Middlesex, Norfolk and Suffolk Counties. The Advanced Legal Studies program at the law school offers all Senior Partners free admission to its family law and other relevant educational programs.

Social Law Library:  On a pro bono basis the Social Law Library designed and maintains the web site for Senior Partners for Justice, hosts meetings, and provides retired Senior Partners with free membership to the full range of its services, including remote access to its databases and admission to its educational programs.

Boston Bar Association and Massachusetts Bar Association provides free admission to Senior Partners to all of its Family Law Section educational programs.

Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee provides free admission to Senior Partners to all of its relevant programs.

McGrath & Kane, a family law firm located in Boston provides office space to Judge Edward M. Ginsburg, the founder and director of Senior Partners for Justice.
