Anita W. Robboy, Esq.
Anita Robboy is of counsel and member of the Domestic Relations Practice Group at Menard, Murphy &Walsh, LLP. Ms. Robboy is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, and the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Ms. Robboy is a graduate of Swarthmore College (B.A.), Tufts University (M.Ed) and Boston University School of Law (J.D.)
Ms. Robboy spent two years as a Visiting Scholar at Cambridge University, Cambridge, England and is known widely for her professional writing, including her recently published book, Aftermarriage: The Myth of Divorce, Alpha Publication (2001). Her other publications include: Family Law Guidebook: A View from the Bench, Butterworth Legal Publishers, (1993); C.C. v. A. B. and Beyond, Boston Bar Journal, Vol. 35, No. 1, (January-February 1991), (Co-author with Judge Edward M. In her practice, Ms. Robboy is experienced in all aspects of divorce, separation and post-divorce actions and pre-nuptial agreements. Ms. Robboy is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a member of the American Inns of Court. She is a member of the Family Law section of the Boston, Massachusetts and Women’s Bar Associations.
Ms. Robboy is a dedicated member of Senior Partners for Justice and pro bono panel attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
